POEM

A Deux
I pinch your arm,
You twist my legs,
I make you cry,
You make me beg,
I dry your eyes,
You wipe my nose,
And that's the way
The kissing goes

This poem is a couple's story.

They are jangling, and fighting.

Even though they pinch each other, they still in love with each other.

Because the last sentence is "The kissing goes."

===============================================
A Winter's Tale
Yesterday the feilds were only grey with scattered snow,
And now the longest grass-leaves hardly emerge;
Yet her deep footsteps mark the snow ,and go
On towards the pines at the hill's verge.
I cannot see her, since the mist's pale scarf
Obscures the dark wood and the full orange sky;
But she's waiting, I know, impatient and cold, half
Sobs struggling into her frosty sigh.
Why does she come so promptly, when she must know
She's only the nearer to the inevitable farewell?
The hill is steep, on the snow my steps are slow-
Why does she come, when she knows what I have to tell?
The poem symbolizes sadness.
Poet used grey, pale, dark, and orange colors to show his mood.
And the sentence" She's only the nearer to the inevitable farewell "
is the center of the poem.
